Store Settings

Overview

Store Settings control the global configuration for your Flint Engine installation. These settings affect how your site looks, how emails are sent, which currencies are supported, and what security measures are active.

Accessing Store Settings

Navigate to Settings from the main admin sidebar. The settings page is divided into tabs for easy navigation.

General

Configure the basic identity of your store:

  • Site Name — Your business name, displayed in browser tabs and emails
  • Site Tagline — Short tagline for headers and meta tags
  • Site Description — Longer description for SEO
  • Website URL — Full production URL with protocol
  • Admin Email — Email for system notifications
  • Default Language — Select from 19 available languages
  • Footer Tagline — Text displayed in the site footer
  • Copyright Text — Copyright notice for the footer

Branding

Customize the visual identity of your store:

Logos

  • Site Logo — Main logo for headers and print
  • Header Logo — Logo for the website header
  • Footer Logo — Logo for the footer area
  • Admin Logo — Logo in the admin panel sidebar
  • Favicon — Browser tab icon
  • Apple Touch Icon — iOS home screen icon

Colors

Eight color pickers control the site color scheme:

  • Primary — Main brand color for buttons and links
  • Secondary — Secondary accent color
  • Accent — Highlight color for emphasis
  • Success — Green for success messages
  • Warning — Yellow for warnings
  • Danger — Red for errors and destructive actions
  • Background — Main page background color
  • Text — Default text color

Typography

  • Website Font — Choose from 17 Google Fonts for body text
  • Heading Font — Separate font for headings
  • Base Font Size — Default text size in pixels

Contact Information

Set your business contact details:

  • Company name, address, email, and phone number
  • Multiple office addresses (Dhaka, Khulna, etc.)
  • Google Maps embed URL
  • Working hours for support

Localization

Configure currency and time settings:

Setting Options
Timezone 21 timezone options
Date Format 8 format options (e.g., YYYY-MM-DD, DD/MM/YYYY)
Time Format 12-hour or 24-hour
Currency Code 20 currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, BDT, etc.)
Currency Symbol Auto-detected from currency code
Position Before or after amount
Decimal Places Number of decimal digits
Separators Thousand and decimal separator characters

Email Settings

Configure SMTP for outgoing emails. These settings are synced to the mail configuration for use by the email marketing system.

Security

  • Enable Registration — Allow new user registrations
  • Enable reCAPTCHA — Add CAPTCHA protection to forms
  • reCAPTCHA Keys — Site key and secret key from Google

Maintenance Mode

Put your site in maintenance mode for updates:

  • Toggle maintenance mode on/off
  • Set a custom maintenance message
  • Define expected restoration time
  • Allow specific IPs to bypass maintenance

Tip: Settings are cached automatically. After saving, changes take effect immediately — no manual cache clearing is needed.
