System Settings

Overview

System Settings control the global configuration for your Flint Engine installation. These settings affect your site identity, branding, email delivery, security, and localization.

Accessing Settings

Navigate to Settings from the main admin sidebar. Settings are organized into tabs.

Settings Sections

General

Basic site identity and configuration:

  • Site name, tagline, and description
  • Website URL and admin email
  • Default language (19 options)
  • Footer tagline and copyright text

Branding

Visual identity customization:

  • Multiple logo uploads (site, header, footer, admin)
  • Favicon and Apple touch icon
  • 8 color pickers for the color scheme
  • Typography settings (17 fonts available)

Contact

Business contact information:

  • Company name, address, email, phone
  • Multiple office locations
  • Google Maps integration
  • Working hours

Social Media

Social profile links:

  • Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok
  • WhatsApp phone number

Localization

Currency and time settings:

  • Timezone (21 options)
  • Date and time formats
  • Currency code (20 currencies) and symbol
  • Decimal and thousand separators

Email

SMTP configuration for outgoing emails. Settings are synced automatically to the mail configuration for use by the email marketing system.

Security

Access and security controls:

  • Enable/disable user registration
  • Enable/disable reCAPTCHA
  • reCAPTCHA site and secret keys

Maintenance

Site maintenance mode:

  • Toggle maintenance mode on/off
  • Custom maintenance message
  • Expected restoration time
  • IP addresses that bypass maintenance

Saving Settings

  1. Make your changes in the settings form
  2. Click Save to apply changes
  3. Settings are saved and cached automatically
  4. Changes take effect immediately

Tip: After making settings changes, the cache is cleared automatically. If changes do not appear on the frontend, try refreshing your browser.
